Science has pretty well proven that everything in our world is energy at different rates of vibration. So, if everything is energy, then we can change what we see by changing our vibration or adjusting to a different rate or frequency.
2000 years ago, when Jesus was explaining this simple idea, he didn’t have the backing of a scientific community or even the language we have today to explain this phenomenon. He had to rely on metaphors and stories (parables) to teach His wonderful message that we are actually in control of our lives.
Matt. 9:35 says that “Jesus went about all the cities and villages teaching and preaching…. The gospel of the kingdom.” In another passage Jesus tells us that the “kingdom of heaven is within”. So, it appears that Jesus, our master teacher, was teaching that everything we are searching for is already within us waiting for our awakening to our innate abilities to provide the lifestyle of our dreams.
It’s almost like listening to a radio station we don’t like and screaming at the radio to change the station. It is not going to change anything even if we tell it how wrong it is and demean its character. We can easily change the station by turning the dial to another frequency. We must act within the activity required to change the station’s frequency to make the change we are seeking.
This requirement to act within the structure needed to make beneficial changes in the outcomes of life, is the simple message Jesus was sharing over 2000 years ago. There is a Master frequency we call God. When we learn to vibrate at these frequencies, life is good. When we deviate from these frequencies, we begin to have challenges. The basic language or frequency of God is love. When we are expressing love and its variations, life works. When we deviate into things like criticism, condemnation, complaining, and the other negative aspects of life, challenges occur.
So here we are, 2000 years after he said it, that to love your neighbor as yourself is the secret to leading a successful life.
