It has been an interesting week. Lots of learning situations and a bunch of personal awareness’s into how our minds, and the subconscious patterns that are stored as part of our life experiences affect us and make up stories that are really not part of our current path in life. This underlines for me the premise from a Course of Love that our new path is defined as “wholeheartedness” which means that we are learning to integrate the heart and the mind into our daily thoughts, beliefs, actions and lives.
Jesus says in Matthew 12:34 “For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.” The heart in the physical world is a pump that circulates the blood through our bodies. Spiritually, the heart is the seat of God’s language of love and is there to mitigate and correct the illusions and false narratives propagated by the ego mind. The Truth of being that only God, in all Its many manifestations, is present in our world and affairs.
The language of love is that subtle energy that allows us to see with the eyes of the Christ. It allows us to look past the illusions that mar our awareness and become aware of the marvelous creations of divinity that surround us and interpenetrate our being.
To use a famous Japanese image of the three wise monkeys: “See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil.” The lesson for us here is that evil or error is a false perception of the ego mind and does not exist in God’s Kingdom. Our path is to return to the wholehearted kingdom which is within each of us.
